Nobody anticipated that February 2024 would mark a significant milestone for the Rock Technolabs team. It wasn’t merely due to the forthcoming Meet Magento India 2024 event but also because our hard work yielded an outcome beyond imagination. We were already aware that Meet Magento India 2024 was going to be an exhilarating and fantastic occasion filled with a fusion of technical and non-technical sessions, networking chances, a sponsor expo, and delightful Gujarati cuisine. This yearly event was organized by Wagento and Evrig, premier Magento development firms, and there were over 1000 attendees, 25 sponsors, and 40 speakers.
Also, Rock Technolabs were the Showcase Sponsor of this event on the auspicious date of February 10, 2024, at The Forum Convention Centre in Shela, Ahmedabad.
In this event, many Global IT companies participated to enjoy the opportunity to connect with professionals from various segments of the Magento ecosystem (like Magento experts, contributors, & community members), explore the diverse topics (Magento PWA, payments, Magento B2B, community engineering, cloud apps management, and more), forge new connections, and get deeper insights into ecommerce industry.
Rock Technolabs Won Hyva Lightning Fast Award For Printer.se
Besides this, the exciting news is that the Rock Technolabs team triumphed as the Hyva Lightning Fast Award Winner For Printer.se (Our biggest Hyva theme project). Plus, the special highlight of this achievement was that we received the award from none other than Willem Wigman, the founder of Hyvä Theme.
Apart from that, Vishal Lakhani the founder of Rock Technolabs received the award from Willem Wigman. Following the presentation, Vishal Lakhani engaged in a thorough conversation with Willem about forthcoming modifications and enhancements in the Hyva theme. Their discussion encompassed optimal methodologies, precautions, ecommerce marketing challenges, theme support and maintenance, integration compatibility, and various other subjects which gave an idea on how we can stand out and offer the best to our customers.
It was a very proud moment for the Rock Technolabs team as thousands of other companies sent their work to the Hyva theme, but the Hyva team was impressed by our hard work, time, and efforts on the Printer.Se project. Printer.Se team was looking for a highly customized Hyva theme for all their website pages including some advanced features. So, as they demanded, we implemented the Hyva theme with extensive customization.
During the Hyva theme development, we rigorously followed standardization protocols. Our developers prioritized optimizing the website’s speed by tasks such as image optimization across all pages, reducing HTTPS requests, minifying HTML, and optimizing database queries and collections for quicker loading of listing and product pages.
We met our clients’ expectations precisely by building a robust infrastructure for both backend and frontend, with improved speed. Furthermore, the website now boasts a 95+ lighthouse/Google page speed score with the Hyva theme, and its page loading time is approximately 1 second, setting an exceptional standard to outperform its competitors.

Aside from that, this event offered a wealth of educational content by many Magento experts, encompassing informative sessions, workshops, and presentations that delve into a wide range of topics. Some of them were ecommerce strategy, technical development, marketing tactics, and enhancing customer experiences. Experts also talked about the latest trends and statistics on headless commerce, Magento PWA, Advance PIM, AR/VR optimization, omnichannel selling and picked several other topics.
