Rock Technolabs recently celebrated its seven years of being in the business. We followed it up with an office trip in 2021 to Mount Abu. The entire team went to this special two-day outing which was filled with fun and frolic.

On reaching Hotel Sunset Inn at Mount Abu, we were mesmerized by the view. The hotel offered a garden, specialty restaurant, and spectacular mountain scenery. The greenery around the hotel was a visual pleasure. Also, being a centrally located hotel, we could see the nearby significant attractions without any hassle.

Our office trip started once we reached the hotel in Mount Abu, and then we went to Dilwara temple, Nakki lake and Guru Shikar. This hill station is a special place in India because, amidst the sultry desert of Rajasthan, Mount Abu stands at 1,722 meters above sea level on the Aravalli Ranges. When we visited there, we were captivated by the colorful and rustic beauty of the place.

We visited the Dilwara Jain Temple , which is 2.5 km from Mount Abu. The five-temple complex architecture carved out of white marbles is a sight to behold. Often referred to as an architectural perfection of the country, established between the 11th and 13th centuries. The interior of the temple has intricate designs across the walls, doorways, and ceilings.

Rock Technolabs Office Trip 2021’s next stop was Nakki Lake. It is one of the preferred locations to view Mount Abu, mainly from the Toad Rock. Nakki Lake is well-known for the immersion of Mahatma Gandhi’s ashes, and it is recognized as the first artificial lake in India.

We next went to Guru Shikhar on a private vehicle, which was 18 to 20 km away from Mount Abu. The temple of Guru Dattatreya, the incarnation of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, is at the top of the mountain range. One had to climb 300 steps to reach the temple, and on reaching the peak, you get to witness a spellbinding panoramic view of the valley and the range.

The office trip in 2021 to Mount Abu was an experience to remember and for that, we would like to thank our boss Mr. Vishal Lakhanifor organizing this trip. This trip facilitated certain aspects that increased productivity and employee engagement. Some of them were

  • Creative bonding
  • Time and resource management
  • Enhanced communication
  • Trust building
  • Ice breaker between the old and new team members
  • Helped team members to unwind and destress
  • Learn to respect diversities and other points of view

As a result, the trip has been beneficial for the team members, which in return is benefiting Rock Technolabs.
